About Ilene and Ben

ILENE GRAFF
has been coaching and teaching vocal performance for 15 years, teaching master classes in high schools and colleges, as well as serving as a Master Teacher for Crystal Cruises’ Emerging Artists program. Ilene serves as a judge in the non-classical voice division of the world-famous Music Center Spotlight Program for high school students in Southern California. Her professional work on Broadway, TV, in concert, and in the recording studio have given her the skills and insight necessary to bring out the best in each student. Using a multi-pronged approach geared to the individual strengths of each singer, Ilene provides the positive support necessary for that person to grow and shine. Ilene believes that when technique and emotion come together, the magic happens!

BEN LANZARONE
is an ASCAP-award winning composer, arranger, conductor and pianist who has composed hundreds of hours of music for television shows. He conducted and played piano for the original Broadway production of Grease and played and arranged for some of the biggest names in show business, including Frank Sinatra, Art Garfunkel and Petula Clark. His piano album, In Classic Form was produced by the legendary Bob Crewe.

Private Coaching

Ilene and Ben are available for private coaching. Ilene tailors instruction to meet your individual needs, focusing on your areas of strength and the parts of your vocal technique and acting skills that you want to improve. Always working from a position of support and encouragement, you will gain confidence as you reinforce your love of singing. We can also help you prepare for auditions, put together an audition book, or help you create your own distinctive cabaret evening.
